Planning and coordinating business unit activities to produce the products and components within schedule, quality, cost and safety goals;
Assisting with new product launches;
Developing, coaching and mentoring supervisors, engineers, group leaders and process techs;
Developing methods of improvements in current production practices to promote efficiency and lower costs;
Researching new technologies in the industry and recommending application to the company products;
Providing training for departmental personnel and assisting in the selection of employees;
Coordinating studies and projects for improvements in processes, equipment, and cost reductions;
Maintaining compliance with all required company and governmental regulations.
EDUCATION: 4-year degree required in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Business; MBA preferred.
REQUIRED SKILLS:

years of experience in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, and Purchasing in a multi-line assembly operation;
Automotive experience is a plus;
Solid technical leadership skills;
Proven people development and mentoring skills;
Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
