Sanitation Supervisor (or) Production Supervisor w/Sanitation

Responsibility for the sanitation of the plant, interior and exterior and the janitorial staff activities;
Tracking trends to identify areas of improvement and the actions needed to improve these areas;
Leading the cross-functional Sanitation team;
Accompanying the USDA inspector during pre-op inspections;
Participating in 3rd party and regulatory audits;
Conducting safety and educational training;
Maintaining inventory and ordering sanitation supplies.
EDUCATION: 4-year degree preferred.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
3
years of sanitation experience in a food processing environment;
Will consider Production Supervisor with Sanitation experience;
Knowledge of CIP required;
Ability to write SSOPs;
Knowledgeable in USDA and FDA guidelines and regulations;
Experience working with USDA is a plus;
Knowledge of chemicals and chemical usage;
Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
