Job Summary
The Data Services Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and operating end-to-end data solutions connecting client data systems to the integrated management system platform. Drives the implementation and reporting processes within a complex multi-application environment. Technical managerial position requiring the individual to provide technical input to products/tools/processes and work with peers to implement a comprehensive project based planning process across all groups and projects.
Principal Accountabilities
(Typical duties include the following, although specific duties vary by assignment or contract.)
Manage staff workload, capacity and service level agreements (SLA's) across multiple functional areas
Manage data loading and data transformation for corporate, program, and client implementations into the integrated management system platform.
Manage the development and maintenance of custom reports, metrics and dashboards.
Develops, enhances and recommends policies, tools, practices, standards for data quality verification and cleanup, extract summarization, reporting and analysis.
Manage an operational team to support ongoing client needs for data transformation, reporting, research, data quality support and issue resolution
Works collaboratively across program functional areas
Deployment teams to proactively drive timelines and commitments.
Manages resources within program IT services effectively and efficiently
Consults with management to determine goals, timeframes, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing projects, staffing requirements, and allotment of resources.
Directs and coordinates activities for Data Services personnel to ensure the program progresses on schedule and within budget.
The manager must also drive operational execution across customer engagements.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge & Skills
Ability to quickly assess team/project needs, capacity and competency and make changes where necessary.
Ability to lead professional growth and development of staff.
Very good understanding of data architecture, processes, and components.
Strong knowledge of project management best practices and methodologies.
Proven business analysis and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as excellent listening, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment with internal staff and third party vendors.
Additional knowledge/skills may be required by contract or assignment.
Experience & Education
Bachelor's degree in an associated discipline. Two years' experience in related field can be substituted for each year of the 4 years of college
Eight (8) years' experience in IT environment with strong background in software and infrastructure. Two years' experience in a supervisory or project management role.
Strong background in IT with a clear understanding of the challenges of information security.
Strong project management experience successfully managing enterprise-level and operational initiatives.
Working experience with web services and associated technical elements.
Secret Clearance required.
Additional experience/education may be required by contract or assignment.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
