Establishing objectives, schedules and priorities in Manufacturing Engineering activities and reviewing staff based on their accomplishments toward those directions;
Staffing and organizing the department to maximize effectiveness;
Developing a staff that is skilled in tooling, manufacturing engineering, methods and processes, cost estimating, maintenance supervision and quality control;
Improving existing, and developing new production processes and methods to increase output or efficiency and reduce costs;
Assisting manufacturing operations in solving technical tooling, quality, process and maintenance problems;
Implementing the engineering change and release activity.
EDUCATION: 4-year degree required; Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering preferred.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
5
years of manufacturing experience;
5
years of supervisory experience preferred;
Leadership and problem solving skills;
Strong working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing methodologies.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
