This is our direct client opening for a Systems Analyst located in Northbrook, IL. This is a permanent position and the salary offered is $90-95k. Our client prefers local candidates as there is no relocation package offered.
Able to perform the duties of a Programmer, Programmer/Analyst and Systems Analyst.
Develop and maintain application program code, as well as create technical specifications
for other developers. This is a technical lead position, with responsibility for coding and
providing direction to other functional and technical resources.
Transform computer system requirements into a system design, including program design and data design.
Assist in the development of test plans and quality assurance activities.
Supervise the work of consultants and programmer analysts on large-scale assignments, as required
Support end-users in the operation of new and existing systems.
Qualifications:
Current PeopleSoft HCM 9.1 or above
Experience:
o Minimum of 3 years experience with at least one of the following modules:
Human Resources, e-Benefits, Benefits, Time and Labor, Payroll
Proficient with PeopleTools 8.51 or above
Minimum of 3 years experience and strong knowledge of PeopleCode, Application Engine,
Query, SQL, SQR/SQC required, Component Interface
Must have solid experience in working with functional business users to define the business
requirements and translate those requirements into technical solutions.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred skills: Integration Broker, XML Publisher, Oracle, BI Publisher
General skills requirements:
Graduate of a recognized university with a degree in computer science or commerce or a
technical school equivalent with a diploma in computer science.
Minimum 3 to 5 years experience as Programmer and/or Programmer/Analyst, with
progressively responsible experience in IT development and implementation projects
