TITLE:
GIS Solutions Architect
DUTIES:
Provide on-site support in response to client requirements to develop business architecture, application architecture, data architecture, technology architecture & business requirement traceability summaries; This includes driving business requirements; Business continuity/availability; IT standards and policies; ARCGIS desktop analysis; Browser-based viewing analysis; Data search and discovery; Field data collection; Products, releases, and deployment; Application tier security; Thematic inventory; Back-up/recovery; Existing infrastructure; Target design; Capacity; Staging and development; Shared business drivers; Departmental business drivers; Deliver information to clients regarding state of the art technologies, technology direction, and emerging capabilities that can support the clients mission space; Develop a comprehensive picture of the geospatial environment associated with our clients; As solutions are designed, work with the implementation teams to assist in the execution of design documents including analysis, design, develop, configure & implement web-based GIS enterprise applications; Participate in Scrums; Develop proof-of-concept software capabilities; Work involves travel/relocation to various unanticipated client sites across USA.
REQUIREMENTS:
Applicants need to have a Bachelor's (or foreign equiv.) in Computer Science, MIS, IT, related field or any Engineering field and 5 years of progressive post Baccalaureate experience in the job offered incl., at least one year exp., in the listed technologies.

GIS Software: ESRI: ArcGIS 9.3 & above (Arc Editor/View)-Utility Network Analyst, 3D analyst & Network Analyst, Arc GIS server 9.3 & above, ArcSDE 9.3 & above; Rest services, Silverlight, ArcIMS 4, ArcPAD, CTrack, MGIS, Arc Info 9.0 & above; Arc Objects, Arc FM; Autodesk: AutoCAD R 2006, AGDS, MapGuide; Mapinfo: MapInfo, MapBasic, MicroStation; Programming Languages: ArcObjects, python, .Net, VB Scripting, Mapbasic, Java scripting, PL/SQL, Silverlight; Image Processing software: ERDAS 8.5/8.6, PCI Geomatica; Mobile GIS Applications: MGIS, Ctrack; Database: Oracle 9i & above; SQL Server, PODS, Interbase
