POSITION SUMMARY
Assist in leading the Grocery, Dairy and Frozen departments and work with team members to develop their skills. Performs all functions necessary in the daily operations of departments including inventory control, maintenance of back room and floor, and supports department team members. Models the company's culture of integrity and transparency within the store and the community and ensures all teammates focus on delivering a wow shopping experience for the customer.
THE JOB
Deliver impeccable customer experience through service and in-stock conditions in the Grocery, Dairy and Frozen departments.
Assist in daily operation of the departments
Follow and comply with established procedures including health and sanitation and safe work practices
Assist in ensuring that department goals are understood and achieved across store associates
Act as a coach and facilitator in maintaining collaborative working relationships
Model behavior to establish a positive work environment
Recognize, resolve and/or report potential hazards with respect to equipment
Provide positive support to department team
Contribute to maintaining impeccable department conditions
Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays necessary to serve our customers
