Senior Software Engineer - Identity and Access Manager
We have an immediate contract opportunity with a large F500 client in the Menlo Park, CA area.
The Identity & Access Management Engineer serves as a subject matter expert supporting, administering, and managing multiple disciplines and identity and security platforms for the corporate enterprise. Will provide guidance to design IAM solutions, maintain multiple environments, and contribute to future strategic initiatives. Design and develop identity provisioning flows and Role Based Access Control (RBAC) entitlements using the Oracle Identity Management suite. Work with the IAM architect, application developers, and the team's enterprise customers to build, configure, test and implement IAM solutions that meet the business needs of the enterprise and are aligned and consistent with enterprise IT strategies and plans.
Responsibilities:
oGathering functional requirements, developing technical specifications, and project & test planning
oDesigning/developing web, software, mobile apps, prototypes, or proofs of concepts (POC's)
oAct in a technical leadership capacity: Mentoring junior engineers, new team members, and applying technical expertise to challenging programming and design problems
oRoughly 70-85% hands-on coding
oResolve defects/bugs during QA testing, pre-production, production, and post-release patches
oWork cross-functionally with various Intuit teams: product management, QA/QE, various product lines, or business units to drive forward results
oContribute to the design and architecture of the project
oExperience with Agile Development, SCRUM, or Extreme Programming methodologies
Qualifications:
oBA/BS Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems
o3 years of experience with Directory Services and LDAP, SQL
o3 years of experience with enterprise identity management applications - e.g. Oracle IAG suite (Oracle Identity Manager, Oracle Identity Analytics), Sailpoint IQ
o3 years of technical experience integrating and implementing identity and access management systems
o2 years of experience with authentication, authorization and federation technologies and concepts
oStrong programming skills with Java, J2EE, Java, Oracle ADF on Oracle Weblogic, Apache Tomcat platforms
oGeneral understanding of TCP/IP networks, HTTP, and DNS/networking technologies
oExperience with Unix commands and shell scripting
oExperience working in both Agile and Waterfall development methodologies
oStrong verbal and written communications skills, organized with attention to details
oAbility to work as an individual contributor and team-member in functional and cross-functional teams
