The Manager, Product Development will be responsible for the following:

General
Responsibilities:
Lead a team of highly talented individuals in order to design, build, unit test, and release great software
Ensure a fun, dynamic work environment & build merit-based culture which appeals to the top talent in the software engineering field
Customer-focused approach by keeping existing customers happy to drive high renewal rates
Facilitate increased sales by delivering a competitive product and adding functionality desired by prospects
Oversee half of the Development team. There are approximately 25 employees total within development presently, with an anticipated growth of 20%
year-over-year
Extend the core capabilities to support current product portfolio
Measure departmental performance by implementing & refining metrics
Staff Management:
Oversee Agile/SCRUM development teams within the R&D Department
Delegate and assign projects, duties, goals to SCRUM Masters and software engineers
Work with HR to interview, hire, promote, and release software engineers
Perform work plan, performance, and salary reviews for direct reports
Approve and oversee vacations, personal days, and schedule changes for engineers
Provide on-going assistance and advice to engineers

years of experience in a position with similar scope & responsibility with a track record of success. The ideal candidate would be one that successfully grew from within the software engineering group
Passionate, driven, strong leadership skills, customer focused and outstanding communication skills
Experience leading an software engineering organization responsible for delivering a SaaS product is highly desired
Experience leading an R&D or software engineering group using SCRUM or another type of Agile is a must
Knowledge of some or all of the tools & technologies currently in use is a plus: Java, SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Apache Tomcat, Linux, Eclipse, Selenium 2.0 & Web Driver, Subversion, etc.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
