This position is the principal contact between U S Chemical and our customers. By insuring complete customer satisfaction, this position retains and grows our customer base, generating the sales revenue necessary for U S Chemical.
Analyzing material needs by using MRP and other planning tools to determine when to place purchase orders with suppliers in order to meet production demands while minimizing inventory.
Placing and maintaining of all Purchase Orders and documentation related to the packaging and raw materials so that records are complete and up to date.
Maintaining accurate and adequate inventory levels of raw materials and packaging to optimize service and turns.
Controlling inventory levels within budgeted amounts.
Working closely with Marketing, R&D;, and Watertown Operations to identify and minimize obsolete materials.
Working closely with Sourcing, Quality, and outside suppliers to execute buying decisions and changes.
Managing and maintaining Item Set Up for commercialization of new items and de-commercialization of obsolete items for packaging and raw materials.
Working with Sourcing to manage and maintain the Supplier Catalog and other necessary set up in One World related to packaging and raw materials.
Communicating with Scheduling and Production any material issues that will affect the production schedule.
Resolving AP invoice discrepancies in a timely manner.
Evaluating and maintaining appropriate safety stock levels to minimize inventory while having an appropriate buffer for supplier issues or inventory discrepancies.
Work with Sourcing, Transportation, and suppliers to identify, track, and solve recurring supplier or transportation issues.
BASIC
Qualifications:

years of experience with JDE Oneworld or a similar business software system required.
High school diploma or equivalent
ADDITIONAL
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
Must have a working understanding of planning concepts
Previous planning or purchasing experience and / or exposure to MRP, CPIM, or APICS is preferred.
Organizational Skills: Must be able to manage time and responsibilities with minimal day to day direction. Must be able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Must pay attention to details and be able to maintain accurate and organized records.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written skills. Proficient in keyboarding or typing since email is a primary communication tool. Ability to discuss ideas and issues in a professional and objective manner to bother internal teammates as well as with outside suppliers
Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills. Must be able to deal with issues by finding root cause and working with the appropriate people to find long-term solutions. Must be able to solve daily issues with minimal assistance.
Technical Skills: Strong computer, math, and logic skills. Advanced Microsoft Excel and Word skills. Must have previous experience with JDE Oneworld or SAP software. Previous experience with Business Objects and or Microsoft Access a plus.
Physical Requirements: Sits for periods of up to 4 hours at a time.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
