The company has an immediate need for a Technical Writer in one of their Greensboro operations.
Overview:
Technical Writer creates a wide range of technical communication media that includes, but is not limited to user, installation, service, parts, and quick reference documentation that comply with approved quality and industry safety standards. The Technical Writer takes inputs from various sources to produce documentation that is targeted to different audiences.
Environment is fast-paced and priorities change frequently, requiring the Technical Writer to move effectively between projects, while maintaining good working relationships with the stakeholders
Key
Responsibilities:
? Compile technical data packets consisting of parts information, procedures, illustrations, drawings and photographs obtained from SMEs or during interviews as necessary.
? Analyze project requirements and provide direction to remote team through emails, teleconferencing and web conferencing within multiple time zones as necessary.
? Work in conjunction with department lead/supervisor to track progress, review issues and implement solutions.
? Review deliverables from remote team for accuracy, usability and language.
? Perform writing tasks as needed.
? Participate in product knowledge sessions, team meetings and training.
Qualifications:
? Bachelors degree in technical writing, English, journalism, or related field.
? Minimum of two years of technical writing or related experience.
? Excellent communication skills.
? Proficient in using Adobe FrameMaker, Acrobat, PhotoShop, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
? Adobe Illustrator, RoboHelp, or similar software experience desirable.
? Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
? Excellent time management skills.
? Ability to understand engineering drawings and concepts is desirableEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
