Summary:
Position involves the architecture, design, development and documentation of policy-driven software libraries for use in multiple systems across the Customer enterprise. Interaction with a wide variety of other programs, as well as with local and remote Customers, is expected in this role. Candidate should demonstrate strong interpersonal skills as well as written and verbal communication skills.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or higher in computer engineering or in a field related to the computer engineering or computer science disciplines. An additional four years may be substituted for the degree.
Three years professional experience with software design, development, and integration, including exposure to the entire software development life cycle.
Hands-on experience with Java
One year experience working with middleware products
Two years of experience developing software and systems in Java
One year of experience developing thread-safe applications
One year of experience with object-oriented programming and the modularization and optimization of complex software processes
Demonstrated experience with UML diagrams and/or other methods of expressing the intent, implementation and operation of software
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, on schedule and with minimal supervision, when multiple projects are being developed simultaneously
Ability to clearly and professionally communicate ideas and status updates to peers, management, and external stakeholders including the Customer
An active TS/SCI security clearance with Polygraph is required.
Desired Qualifications
Intermediate technical writing skills
Familiarity with coding and documentation standards and best practices, and with source control systems
Familiarity with the CAPCO Register and Manual, and generally with data security policies as they apply to classified environments
Experience with the various JBlocks libraries
Experience with PKI certificates and SASPORT/CASPORT/GOVPORT
