Position Purpose:
The Technical Dairy Sales Nutritional Consultant is a combination of both, technical support of targeted company field based sales nutritionists and personal ownership of Dairy Producer accounts.
Technical Support
Interface with Dairy Research team to bring technologies to the field to use in the right situations for dairy producers in assigned geography.
Bring ideas and brainstorm with Dairy Research/fellow consultants on ways to add value to Purina Dairy Portfolio
Lead team of Sales Nutritionists in field with ASM, to grow their competence, confidence, and execution of best value solutions with customers and prospects in their markets. This to include training, meetings both at the farm and classroom, and periodical technical releases.
Be the face of Purina with Suppliers, industry influencers such as Veterinarians, University, to promote the value and direction of Purina while listening to new ideas from these people.
Competent on Purina Ration balancing Software led from Research/Tech group.
Field Sales
Gain New Customers from assigned list of potential progressive dairies in market.
Service any assigned dairies to bring new ideas and technologies where appropriate.
Partner on appropriate dairies with other consultants to enhance business.
## Qualifications
Experience-Education (Required): Bachelors Degree
Competencies-Skills (Required): Sales, Dairy nutrition and production, interpersonal relationship, computer
