Our Client is seeking a qualified individual to join our consulting practice as a Business Analyst. This individual will work on client projects as part of a team working on a large-scale systems modernization program for our client, a state government agency.
The individual must have experience working with a Document Imaging Workflow System.
Duties include defining vision and priorities, developing a strategic plan for IT and operations, reviewing existing processes and recommending improvements, defining requirements for new systems, developing Request for Proposal documentation, assisting with the procurement process, and developing roadmaps for moving to new systems. The qualified applicant will have demonstrated analytical, facilitation, writing, and client relationship skills.
Position
Responsibilities:
o Understand client business processes and facilitate process review; elicit requirements from clients
o Document current and future business processes
o Facilitation of large group meetings and documentation of outputs
o Write specifications, process flows, business process re-engineering analysis and design documents based on analysis
o Create charts, graphs and flowcharts
o Identify and implement business process improvements
o Identify technical solutions to support process re-design
o Review project deliverables
o Support task execution including project planning, tracking, and scheduling using project scheduling software
o Facilitate project issue resolution
Position Requirements:
o Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, IT, Government, Information Systems.
o Seven (7) years relevant experience or five (5) years with a Master's degree.
o Experience working with a Document Imaging Workflow System a must.
o Experience working with state or federal government agencies a plus
o Experience working with state motor vehicle operations a plus
o Experience working with document imaging systems a plus
o Demonstrated business process analysis and re-design experience
o Demonstrated experience on enterprise software development projects and teams
o Demonstrated experience assessing deliverable documents against criteria and writing assessment reports
o Demonstrated initiative and ability to work in a self-directed manner to accomplish objectives
o Demonstrated ability to be organized and multi-task; establish and follow priorities
o Demonstrated proficiency in using MS Office
o Demonstrated proficiency using MS SharePoint
Work Location: Glen Burnie, MDEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
