Job Description:
Entry level sales person. The position focus is to retain existing customers and to obtain new customers. Revenue and margin growth are the objectives. The ideal candidate should aspire to personal growth so that they are assigned their own sales territory to manage for the company.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following:
Assists in preparing quotes, samples & other documents that are
necessary to complete a sale.
Assists with customer request for new or changed orders, order
status reports, and or inquiries to satisfy the customer request
Analyze customer buying history to gain repeat orders.
Assists senior sales people in handling and processing special
requests.
Active participant in prospecting to qualify new potential
customers.
Job Requirements:
Education and/or Experience
Associates Degree (AA) or equivalent from a two=year college or
technical school; or six (6) months to one (1) year related
experience or training.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook and
basic knowledge of accounting systems and the ability to type
40WPM.
Problem solving skills, ability to identify problem situations
before they escalate.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Fluent in English. Spanish language capability is desirable.
Ability to prioritize and multitask
High level of professionalism with strong attention to detail
