Responsible for supervising a team of engineers on an activity and completion of activity on time and budget. Ability to supervise a technical group independently. Involved with the design, development, modification and analysis of various electrical systems. May include Hardware, System Integration, Power Engineering, Power Electronic Engineering, and Electromagnetic Engineering Troubleshoots and diagnoses malfunctions in existing products or systems and makes modifications as needed. Compiles and evaluations design and test data. Analyzes, develops and recommends design approaches.

Responsible for supervising a team of engineers (up to 10 employees) and managing coordination of engineering resources, defines implementation plans to assigned projects.
Helps to achieve division technology goals, and get allocated design talent (internal or external) to maintain project timing.
Duties and Responsibilities
Ensure projects assigned to staff are justified based on business need, improvement or government regulation and manage project safety, quality, timeline and budget.
Drive the program design to cost and design for manufacture requirements in addition to participating in preparation of proposals
Manage budget, cost and schedule input for design assignments
Analyzes, develops and recommends design approaches
Participate in preparation of proposals
Troubleshoots and diagnoses malfunctions in existing products or systems and makes modifications as needed in addition to compiling and evaluating design and test data.
Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization.
Requirements
Must be able to drive and influence others to complete projects on a timely basis in addition to ensuring quality and adding value as well as make direct technical contributions
Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE), Masters Degree a plus
Program Management and/or Project Management preferred
Working knowledge of Electrical Design Concepts and knowledge of Electro-Magnetic Interference (EMI) risk mitigation a plus in addition to systems integration experience
MS Project Server experience required and Visual Basic.NET, Labview a plus.
Knowledge of Mil Standards a plus.
Highly motivated and able to work in fast paced environment
Will provide relocation assistance. Must be US citizen or permanent resident Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
