McKinley is looking for a motivated and energetic Affordable Housing Supervisor to join our team at The Villages of Taylor located in Taylor, MI!

Position information:
Management of The Villages of Taylor Compliance Office
Partnering and supporting our apartment communities to ensure compliance with affordable housing rules and regulations (mainly Section 8 and tax credit)
Ensuring compliance with HUD for our in-house affordable housing program (mainly Section 8)
Accurate and timely completion of annual recertifications, as required by HUD
Completion of interim rent adjustments, as requested by residents
Knowledge of HUD's EIV system
Executing repayment agreements for residents with unreported income
Knowledge of special claims and voucher submissions
Affordable Housing reporting to the government
Analyzes special requests from residents
Interprets, implements and oversees adherence to company standards and applicable laws
Position requirements:
Four years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Knowledge of HUD policies and procedures
General audit experience required, MOR experience preferred
Certified Occupancy Specialist certificate required
Previous leadership responsibility required

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
