McKinley is looking for a motivated and energetic Summer Leasing Associate to join our team located in Monroe, MI! This is a seasonal position.

Position
Responsibilities:
McKinley's goal is to be 100% occupied at all times. As the sales expert of your community you will have full creative privileges to SELL, SELL, SELL! The model candidate will have a background that shows a proven top sales record and outstanding customer service skills.
Responsibilities include:
Touring and leasing apartment homes
Contacting and following up with all leads
Utilizing my.mckinley.com to engage with residents
Ensuring all units are sparkled for resident move-in
Completion of all new move-in files
Track and monitor pre-leases
Set up/take down of mini model units
Posting ads on Craigslist, and other online resources, as determined by your Manager
May be required to do community outreach
Top customer service and relationship building while adhering to Fair Housing standards as well as McKinley standards.
This position is tailor made for the individual that seeks a well-organized sales management environment that is high energy and motivational, and truly results oriented. Top candidates will demonstrate professionalism through communication, both verbally and written. Overnight travel may be required.
Position Requirements:
You should have a passion to provide solutions for our customers
You should have demonstrated performances as a top sales producer
You must have effective verbal and written communication skills
You may need to travel and should be willing to do so
You will need to be willing to work hours based on customer needs, which could mean showing apartments at times outside of regularly scheduled office hours
You should have the ability to make decisions that stay true to our core values with the understanding of how we operate
You must have a valid driver's license with reliable transportation

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
