The HR Generalist will act as a first point of contact for individual contributors and supervisors/front line managers within a technology and operations population. He or she will coach and counsel management and employees in areas of conflict resolution, progressive discipline, motivation, goal setting, and performance appraisals. The HR Generalist will consistently communicate upward within the human resources organization ensuring that the director is current to all issues. The Generalist will handle employee relations investigations or any other employee relations issues that arise as necessary (with appropriate escalation and guidance to the director), including the preparation of written analysis/reports with findings and recommendations for resolution. The Generalist will act as the liaison on compensation and benefits issues as they relate to their specific functional group(s). Additionally, the Generalist will assist and advise employees on policy issues including FMLA/non-FMLA, Personal Leaves of Absence, Disability, D.O.T. compliance, etc. The Generalist may also be asked to complete data analysis and reporting.
o Bachelor's degree in Human Resources/Industrial Relations or a related degree. A Master's degree and SHRM certification is a plus.
o Minimum of four (4) years professional Human Resources experience including direct involvement in employee relations experience
o Ability to act as liaison between management and non-management level employees, and between COEs and the business.
o Ability to build relationships and be a trusted resource to employees and managers
o Experience conducting/facilitating New Hire Orientation and other training sessions
o Strong analytical, human relations, communications, basic management and mediation skills required.
o Working knowledge and understanding of all laws, rules, codes and regulations applicable to the work to be performed (FLSA, EEO, ADA, FMLA, etc.) is required.
o Knowledge of Microsoft Office including advanced level skill with Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge of PeopleSoft is required.
o Must be able to work flexible and additional hours as necessary.
o Must be willing and have the means to travel to multiple locations and must possess a valid driver's license, applicable to state law.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
