Expanding Architectural/Engineering firm currently seeking an Electrical Engineer. Applicants must be capable of designing commercial building/ MEP systems with a strong emphasis on the electrical systems. Client prefers 5-7 years experience in a related field/ role, and a BS in Electrical Engineering or related field. A professional license (P.E.) is preferred, but the ability to obtain a PE License - ideally 'on the track to obtain one,' or somebody who can obtain one shortly is also acceptable.
Duties &
Experience:
Ability to design Electrical systems for Commercial and Medical Buildings
Familiarity with National Building and NFPA codes
AutoCAD proficiency
Experience in designing electrical systems for commercial facilities following applicable codes and standards
Periodic travel may be required within the United States, but will most likely be minimal
Understanding of facility design and layout is helpful, as well as any experience with Building Controls, Control Systems, Electrical Wiring & Wiring Schematics
Knowledge of Architectural field
