A well know investment Bank in Birmingham is recruiting for a Client Lead Operations Specialist within the Client Risk Service Division of the Bank. If you have experience of overseeing the resolution of complex incidents and utilising problem and solutions management skills to ensure the right processes are applied. The right Client Lead Operations ? Client Risk Service Specialist will have hands on experience in supporting Java/C+

Overview:
Risk is a small multidisciplinary team providing client support to over 10,000 internal users globally covering Market, Credit, Liquidity and Operational Risk, as well as Compliance, Legal, Security and document management services. The team has people in Singapore, Germany, the UK and North America and works closely with both our strategic vendors who are mainly based in India.
Key
Responsibilities:
You will manage a set of applications within the Market Risk Function
You will develop a good understanding of the activities required to execute production management functions
Oversee the resolution of complex incidents and ensure that the right problem solving techniques and processes are applied
Understand the capacity and performance requirements and create framework for providing data to Platform Services and Capacity Management
Update the Run Book and Known Error Database as and when required
Understand and manage the flow of data through the application infrastructure
Drive continual service improvements
You will have:
Problem and solution management skills
Oversee the resolution of complex incidents and ensure that the right problem solving techniques and processes are applied.
Service Level Management experience
Experience in application IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) standards
a good solid technological background of Oracle and UNIX based applications
Hands on experience in supporting Java/C+
applications
You will be:
A confident communicator
Able to work with global colleagues and business teams
