Apollos Partners has been engaged to recruit for a Senior Financial Analyst at a global software technology company in Atlanta, GA.
With the understanding that the client comes first, and people make the difference, the Senior Financial Analyst will need to be customer service oriented and will report directly into the Financial Institutions Group's Controller. A key component of this role will be supporting cross divisional financial consolidation, reporting and analysis for a Billion dollar division of The Company. Compensation ranges from $85K to $95K.
Along with FP&A responsibilities, the Senior Financial Analyst will perform the monthly close and forecast process and prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reporting in areas such as revenue, expense, margins, capitalized software, and accounts receivable.
The Senior Financial Analyst will also be responsible for:
Supporting the creation of the annual and multi-year strategic plan.
Reviewing journal entries in the general and statistical ledgers to assure accuracy and compliance with GAAP and other established accounting principles and procedures.
Monitoring and establishing internal controls to ensure proper compliance.
Performing various ad hoc analyses for operational and financial management.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
MBA and/or CPA (Highly preferred)
4
years of Financial Planning and Analysis or other related finance experience for a software development or financial services company (Required)
Advanced working knowledge of Excel and financial modeling (Required)
SAP and SAP Business Analyzer knowledge (highly preferred)
Ability to prepare business cases as needed to support a growing technology business.
Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail along with the ability to prepare reports in a timely and effective manner
Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing with supervisors and other personnel
Capacity to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, business partners, and company officialsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
