They currently have an opening for two Senior Designer/CAD Technicians for their Seminole County branch office.
Experienced Designer/CAD Technician with minimum 3 years of experience in a Civil Engineering Firm.
This position provides an opportunity for a highly skilled, motivated, and detail-oriented professional to join an established multi-disciplined consulting company that will support them in fulfilling their career and financial objectives.
Duties Include:
Develops detailed drawings in AutoCAD/ Civil 3D to comply with zoning, water management, DEP, DOT and local agency reviews. Strong Emphasis on CAD capabilities, speed and accuracy.
Coordinates with all Disciplines involved.
Produce Contract and Construction Documents ready for construction.
Calculates quantities, areas, etc. commensurate with civil engineering as well as prepare data required for roadway, utility, and storm water design.
Plot and prepare plan sets as required for agency and construction submittals.
Performs such other duties as the supervisor may from time to time deem necessary.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate for this position will have a minimum of 1-3 years of experience in an Engineering Firm.
Experience in Land Development is required, Utilities and Roadway preferable.
This candidate needs to be a self-starter, highly motivated and ready to design and draft private, public and commercial projects with little or no supervision.
This candidate must be adaptable and able to listen and learn from others. This candidate will be comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively to produce Design Development and Construction Documents in conformance with established company standards.
This candidate must have a strong sense of attention to detail to ensure the professional appearance and design of the projects is accurate and can be constructed without flaws.
High proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D 2010 or later required.
This candidate must have strong written and communication skills.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
