Our client, a growing and successful multi faceted construction company is hiring a Controller / CFO to pull it all together. Do you have the drive and skills to mentor and team, groom and grow not only the accounting staff but also the senior leadership team to know and understand what they need in place to not only be compliant but also take ideas, conceptualize them and put them in place keeping in compliance and making profitable. Daily responsibilities are very hands on involved in putting cost accounting in place, driving dashboards to show a snapshot of A/R and A/P, lien wavers, and oversight of payroll. Additional down the road initiatives include: reporting, cost reporting per job, cash management, incentive based bonus plan put in place for all levels, financial statement interpretation and trend identification. Process improvement, point of sale system in place for a subsidiary company, health insurance group plan, 401K benefit implemented and system conversion. This is a fantastic opportunity for a self starter who likes to put a puzzle together and knows they have a laundry list a mile long of initiatives to put in place. There will be no dull and boring days, a lot to be done over time.
