The successful candidate for the Construction Administrator/Manager/Civil Engineer position will have the following qualifications, skills and
Experience:
Minimum Qualifications Required:
North Dakota PE or the ability to obtain such within 3 months of hire.
North Dakota and/or Department of Transportation experience required.
BS in Engineering from an accredited college or university.
Experience overseeing 2-3 Project Engineers with willingness to travel.
10 plus years of progressive Construction Administration or related experience. MS in Engineering may be substituted in lieu of one year.
Proven management of sub consultants/contractors.
Experience with safety management and program development.
Experience with construction specifications, construction contracts administration, cost estimates, constructability review on design projects, and Quality Control administration on construction projects.
Experience with specification of materials and testing requirements.
Strong communication and analytical skills.
Valid Drivers License, with an acceptable MVR.
Strong work ethic and genuine commitment to respectful professional leadership.
Job Duties:
Oversees the construction administration phase of multiple construction project.
Directs the administration activities on projects and monitors projects for construction document compliance.
Establishes project procedures, problem solving activities, reviews budget, and makes site observations as needed.
Initiates document revisions and project reviews, and processes changes orders by coordinating with Project Manager or Construction Engineers.
Prepares punch-list and close-out documents, and performs post-construction services and investigations as needed.
Provides Quality Control on construction projects that are being administered by others and assists in the preparation of construction project plans.
Designs and manages engineering projects for a broad range of clients. Project locations may include Minot, Bismarck and the surrounding area; greater North Dakota; and companys entire upper-Midwest service area.
Provides local management and support for cross-functional teams who may be based in any one or more of the upper Midwest offices including Minot, Bismarck, and Fargo ND; Minneapolis MN; Omaha NE; Madison, Milwaukee and Lacrosse WI.
Oversees the management of multiple construction administration/observation teams working throughout North Dakota for Governmental (NDDOT/Counties/Cities) and private clients.
Develops, manages and maintains client relationships.
Develops and implements, in collaboration with senior leadership, a strategic growth plan for the market including short and long-term action plans and financial goals.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
