As part of our growing and strengthening Finance team, the staff accountant will work with other members of the team, as well as internal departmental personnel at all levels and external personnel as it relates to performing the functions of the job which includes:
Prepare month end and quarterly journal entries with adequate support & documentation.
Actively participate in month end accounting close including preparation of balance sheet account reconciliations.
Participate in the development and completion of special projects as assigned.
Assist in the annual audit process with external auditors, including preparing audit schedules.
Keep abreast of the business, industry trends, and the impact of accounting issues on the business.
Job Requirements/
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
3 years prior experience in accounting, preferably with a Big 4 audit firm
Hands on work style - can do attitude with a strong desire to make things happen.
Demonstrates enthusiasm, energy, execution andEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
