Our client is currently looking for an indirect procurement generalist with strong stakeholder management and supplier relationship management skills to join their Parsippany, NJ based corporate procurement team. This role offers fantastic autonomy and the opportunity to influence and add value to a well run, highly visible procurement department.
This procurement role will involve:
Supporting the business on all aspects of indirect procurement, with a particular emphasis on Corporate & Professional Services.
Developing strategies to fit requirements and analyze alternative strategies
Creating and implementing strategic sourcing procedures
Liaising with the business to define end user requirements and support best practice procurement
Managing supplier relationships and monitoring performance
The following experience is required:
A minimum of 5 years of experience is required though our client will consider candidates at all levels.
Excellent stakeholder management
Strong supplier relationship management skills
The ability to gain client and stakeholder buy in and work autonomously
The drive to succeed
Education to degree level or equivalent
