Assists the Lead Teacher in the development and implementation of lesson plans and all classroom activities and assignments; implements daily schedule and lesson plans to ensure children are productively occupied at all times; maintains all applicable licensing and accreditation guidelines; provides guidance and support to children; communicates with families, and ensures classroom is hygienic.
Assists Lead Teacher in the development of lesson plans/daily schedule in accordance with guidelines. Implements daily schedule and lesson plans to ensure children are productively occupied at all times. Maintains all applicable licensing and accreditation guidelines including maintaining a healthy, safe and appropriate learning environment in the classroom. Provides appropriate guidance and support to children. Communicates regularly with families. Ensures classroom is hygienic including environment and personal needs of children. Assists Lead Teacher in all classroom activities and assignments. Other duties may be assigned.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
COMPUTER SKILLS:
An individual should have knowledge of Internet software and Word Processing software.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Child Development Associate Credential preferred. CDL preferred.
OTHER
Qualifications:
Ability to communicate, use computer and solve challenging problems with children and parents.
HOURS: Between 6:30AM to 5:30PM as needed.
