TAD PGS, INC. is currently seeking an Environmental Technician for one of our clients in Clearfield , UT. Per Government Sector, must be a U.S. Citizen.
Position Overview:
Perform manual work necessary to support the recycling and other waste programs. Implement, coordinate, and monitor waste management and recycling programs.
Physical Demands:
While performing duties, the employee is regularly required to stand.
Employee may be required to lift up to, but not over, 50 lbs.
Work Environment:
Work is performed both inside and outside.
Work will occur with electrical equipment with moving mechanical parts.
May be exposed to occasional severe weather, wet, cold, and/or humid conditions.
May be exposed to low levels of fumes or airborne particles, chemicals, noise and vibration.
Functions:
Collect, sort, deliver, compact, bale, and prepare for disposal of recyclable materials.
Complete scheduled recycling pick-ups.
Maintain and keep orderly the work area.
Make deliveries as needed.
Follow safe work procedures.
Assist Environmental Technicians.
Perform other work as assigned.
Skills Required:
High school diploma recommended.
Ability to safely operate a forklift and pass required tests - forklift training can be obtained upon assignment.
Ability to conduct duties in a professional manner.
Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as accept direction on given assignments.
Personal commitment to the environmental mission of the client.
Ability to read documents, apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions, and add/subtract whole numbers and decimals.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
