We are currently recruiting for a Consumer Research Technician for our iNNOVATION institute in Neenah, WI . Our iNNOVATION institute is the central site for research, development and lab services for Georgia-Pacific's North American Consumer Products division. Research and Development areas include:
Commercial towels, tissues, napkins and dispensers
Retail towels, tissues, napkins and dispensers
Paper and plastic Dixie products such as plates, cups, and cutlery
Process development
This position is primarily responsible for supporting research work with our Professional Product Applications Testing Team. The role will span a range of opportunities from prototype exploration research to new product development research as well as internal capability building work. This job involves interfacing with not only the product applications testing team, but also with the product development team, external vendors/suppliers, and the business team.
Responsibilities:
Support Product Applications Testing research, cross categories, by participating in team projects and learning new test methodologies
Act as a moderator for focus group research as appropriate
Liaison with the research vendors on developing an understanding of the vendor's capabilities and establishing confidentiality and/or service agreement documents as necessary
Coordinate research sample preparation in support of the Product Applications Testing team, cross categories
BASIC
Qualifications:
Associate's Degree or higher in Science, Psychology, Market Research or a similar related field OR at least 3 years work experience in consumer research, consumer products or the paper industry.
Experience using Microsoft Office programs such as Word (to write business correspondence), Excel (for use of spreadsheets, reporting, simple formulas) and Outlook (for internal and external correspondence)
Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.
Ability to sign a confidentiality agreement as a condition of employment
PREFEREED
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Science or a similar related field
Previous experience in consumer research, consumer products or the paper industry
Salary and benefits commensurate with experience.
