Duties of Position:
1. Plans, develops and implements activities related to the timely procurement of materials, parts, subassemblies, components and equipment in support of Sanmina Global Services (SGS) materials requirements.
2. Due to the unavailability of components, parts or subassemblies from the OEM supply base, the Global Supply Manager may be required to investigate sourcing of product from Grey Market suppliers. Knowledge of the Grey Market Supply base as it pertains to assigned communication products/commodities is required.
3. Negotiates pricing, delivery and quality with suppliers.
4. Maintain effective communication with the Grey market suppliers to ensure supplier performance and keep abreast of market trends, pricing and product availability.
5. Coordinates purchasing activities with internal SGS departments to maintain inventories at planned levels and to ensure repair production schedules are met.
Qualifications Required:
1. Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or similar with at least five (5) years directly related experience in Grey Market Sourcing and EMS purchasing.
2. Knowledge of electronics, communication products and electromechanical sourcing is desirable.
3. Analytical mind with good management, influencing, negotiation and communication skills.
4. Proficient in using MS Office suite, ERP Systems (Oracle preferred) and MRP.
5. Familiar with ISO standards and procedures.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
