As a primary contact for Safeway customers, the Liquor Clerk/Wine Steward provides friendly, courteous, and helpful service. The Liquor Clerk/Wine Steward is held accountable for the department's results in providing superior service, increasing sales, improving gain, reducing out of stocks and containing cost. Reviews beer, wine, and liquor area (if applicable) and replaces stock as needed. Rotates and reworks the stock in cooler for convenience of access and display. Brings stock from end displays to fill cooler. Provides customer service and advises customers on liquor/wine purchases. Cleans up spills in the beer, wine and liquor aisle.
