Our Product Coordinator represents Commercial product for product administration services and issues and also works with product staff to define, document and analyze reporting data for accuracy. The Product Coordinator will assist the Product Strategy and Development team during the development and deployment of new and existing products.
The Product Coordinator is responsible for:
Project management execution for product initiatives supporting Health Care reform activities for Commercial Markets
Research on product/program issues and identifying trends for improvement of products and programs
Additionally, the Product Coordinator is expected to perform a liaison role between the Product Strategy and Development team and other Medica internal departments with regards to managing and reporting on metrics, and supporting new and existing products and programs.
Qualifications:
Bachelor''s degree preferred
1 years of experience in research and analyzing information and project management preferred
Experience in the health insurance industry, preferably in member service or marketing helpful, however not required
Strong Excel and Access experience strongly preferred
Skills and Abilities:
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Capable of focusing on and analyzing details to draw conclusions and recommend solutions
Demonstrates an understanding of processes and drives issues though appropriate channels
Is a self-starter; enjoys working autonomously and completes projects on time
Successfully enlists support of internal and external customers/contacts and builds rapport for on-going professional relationships
Ability to provide Project management
Assists with projects that meet objectives within specified timelines and budget
