L.L.Bean is looking for an E-Commerce Project Leader to join their team in beautiful Freeport, Maine . The E-Commerce Project Leader is responsible for leading project teams made up of creative, technical, and business partners to plan and deliver customer-facing digital commerce and brand content to . This individual executes digital content project strategies in support of L.L.Bean's Direct Channel goals and objectives. This includes use of project management methodologies to create and maintain schedules and project plans, resource plans, and provide ongoing project support. This Project Leader will work closely with the functional business groups to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of solutions as well as to drive continuous innovation and improvement.
Aligns Digital Content Exposure Plan with other organizational plans and calendars including promotions, merchandising, creative, catalog, and IS development
Maintains, versions, and communicates changes to the Digital Content Exposure Plan
Planning and project trafficking of digital content launch projects to ensure successful content publishing using JIRA and other workflow, tracking, and collaboration tools
Applies knowledge of tools, workflow, and content development and publishing process interdependencies to recommend continuous improvements and create documentation
Coordinate creative and technical development of digital content for including images, copy, widgets, video, banners, and social media
Applies established procedures and project management methodologies to create timelines and project plans to execute digital content strategies
Work with business partners and sponsors to define project scope, outcomes, and priorities
Develop project definition, timelines, milestones, and role clarification for all people involved in the project.
Assign tasks and necessary resources
Determine work teams or individuals critical to involve in the project and bring together as necessary
Ensure project team works efficiently to achieve objectives and adhere to deadlines
Ensure continuous communication around the project occurs as required
Keep management and project sponsors informed of progress to goal; negotiate adjustments to the schedule as necessary
Act as liaison with internal teams, ensuring adequate information is readily available and coordinating activities in line with the project plan
Make recommendations to project sponsor(s) and ensure an action plan is established that will lead to the successful implementation of project recommendations
Plan for and report measurements to document and evaluate the success of the projects.
Assume additional related responsibilities as requested.

Fundamental functional, process and/or technical skills related to creative, development, and publishing digital content for E-Commerce

Education Level: Associates Degree or equivalent
Experience Level: 1 to 2 years
