Description: Be part of the Christensen Farms team that is responsible for production of feed and asset management. This position will work with both feed produciton and maintenance of company sites.
Duties: Efficiently perform asset maintenance program, complete seasonal equipment preparation according to schedules, conduct prescribed maintenance and assist repair staff. Effectively work with production, repair, and mainteance staff to maximize quality work and produtivity of department. Assist on day to day responsibility for porduction of feed and dleivery operations as specificed by daily/weekly feed order levels. Proper use of feed mill equipment and all other assets. Responsible to meet the goals established in the areas of productivity, employee satisfaction and cost management for mill operations. Maintain a positive working relationship with other departments and a high level of customer service.
This position is mainly day shift hours but does require the ability to adapt to various daily hours including on-call evening and weekend needs.
Qualifications: Ideal candidate will have a Class B license and 2 years of previous maintenance experience including skills in electrical systems and welding applications.
Additional requirements include:
Ability to work with computers.
Ability to operate large machinery.
Ability to utilize independent judgement to develop and execute maintenance practices.
Cooperative attitude and team work approach.
Take pride in quality work.
Reliable and responsible.
High level of professionalism and customer service.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
