Summary:
Management Business Solutions is seeking a contract Transportation Coordinator for a manufacturing client to plan transportation for orders and effectively deliver product to customers with priorities on quality, schedule, and cost.
Responsibilities:
Schedule deliveries with customers and dealers
Communicate with distribution centers, carriers, customer service, and dealers on all transportation exceptions
Use daily reports to execute planning of orders; use business intelligence tools to analyze shipment data and drive continuous improvement
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in business or a related field required
Experience in transportation, distribution, purchasing, or a related field required
Experience with ERP and/or TMS systems highly preferred
