This position provides oversight to a patient or a group of patients. This can include but is not limited to sitting with the patient. This position is responsible to communicate with the Registered Nurse (RN) upon arrival and departure. The RN will provide instruction to this position as to the expectations and any pertinent patient information. This position will check in and out patient belongings. Will ensure the milieu is safe and secure at all times. Is aware of the patient's status and privilege level and reports any pertinent findings to the RN.
Essential Functions
Follows a plan communicated by the RN when providing support services to patients.
Communicates the services provided to the patient with the supervisor/Registered Nurse.
Communicates changes in the patient's condition, environment or situation to the RN.
Practices de-escalation techniques and intervenes early. Aware of personal characteristics that increase escalation of the patient.
Minimum Qualifications
High school education or G.E.D. Basic Cardiac Life Support, mandatory safety, hazardous materials, and infection control inservices will be included in orientation and required on a periodic basis.
Preferred Qualifications
Additional related education and/or experience preferred.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
