At Regions the Mortgage Loan Processor processes loan files for submission to underwriting or the loan committee.
Primary Responsibilities
Verify application
Maintain logs
Contact clients as needed
Document problem files
Follow-up on document exceptions
Prepare closing packages

Understanding all Agency Guidelines (FNMA and FHLMC, FHA, VA, USDA, Bond programs).
Minimum of 5 years processing experience required with the ability to review appraisals and understand the requirements for agency and government regulations.
Vast understanding of self-employed income with the ability to determine income from tax returns and business returns. Work together with underwriting and closing to approve loans that will be sold to investors, and underwrite them with high quality.
High School Diploma or GED. Two years of experience with mortgage loan documents. Skilled in Microsoft Excel and Word.
