Select Staffing is hiring immediately for an inventory coordinator for an aerospace manufacturing company located in everett. An ideal candidate will have experience or familiarity with purchasing/Inventory controll in the aerospace industry. Full job description below:
Position
Summary:
responsible for reporting part status and coordinating the flow of material to other departments.
Key Duties and
Responsibilities:
Works with the Planning department to make sure the ERP system is generating the proper schedule.
Manages part shortages.
Assist with the Planning department which includes creating Bills of Material and estimating labor.
Works with Purchasing and Manufacturing on part demand and exceptions.
Manages Job Order due dates.
Coordinates with Manufacturing on product schedule.
Coordinates with all departments for part changes.
Reviews MRB and coordinates with the required departments to resolve the issue.
Confers with production personnel to resolve problems affecting production schedules.
Other duties assigned by management.
Reporting
Reports on status of parts to other departments.
Knowledge/Experience
The Production controller shall possess, at a minimum, a High School Education.
Minimum 2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment as Production Control, preferably related to aircraft.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
Comfortable working with all levels of an organization.
Skills/Abilities
Ability to communicate orally with others
Troubleshooting/problem solving
Ability to prioritize, multi-task effectively, and work under pressure
Able to perform basic mathematic calculations
Working Conditions:
Primarily office work.
Daily local travel by car (Driver's License and vehicle required).
Physical Requirements:
Some bending, climbing, grasping and lifting.
Occasional lifting of up to 35 pounds.
Hearing and vision within normal ranges is essential for safe conduct on the manufacturing floor and to meet job responsibilities
