Duties:
To ensure all finished goods are being produced according to the specifications detailed in the Product Distribution Sheet.
To confirm that Production is consistent with Work Instructions/Orders.
Implement and monitor the necessary tools and reports for maintaining design and quality standards (i.e. Quality Control Report Card, Design Change Report).
Not that ALL special instructions are implemented.
QA Inspector works directly with the Line Lead and Supervisor in reviewing reports and quality performance.
QA inspector reports problems to QA Supervisor, QA Manager and Production Supervisor only if ongoing and reoccurring problems are being observed.
Confirm all materials pulled for production are correct according to Product Distribution Sheets. (Note all changes and substitutions made if any)
Control/minimize product waste (Confirm consistency and correctness of weigh and length of ribbons and packaging materials).
Quality Assurance inspectors must demonstrate a fair and consistent application of all quality standards with all employees.
