Accounting Manager My client, a very successful growing service/real-estate property development organization is seeking an Assistant Controller to join their growing finance department. Ideal candidates will have their Bachelor Degree in Accounting with public accounting/private industry experience and 2 plus years in private industry, with some management and leadership experience. This is a high profile opportunity for someone ready to have an impact on a substantial organization and to be part of the executive team. Responsibilities include but are not limited to overseeing a large portion of the financial statements, P&L;, month-end close, bank reconciliations, general ledger overseeing all of the accounting operation including (AP, AR and Payroll) as well as supervising 2
team members. The Ideal candidate will have experience in fostering and developing a staff for a solid and growing environment with the goal of further improving processes while maintaining the existing environment of positive morale. Responsibilities are as follows: Ensuring all accounting is done in accordance to GAAP and corporate guidelines; preparing the monthly operational profit and loss package for all subsidiaries; preparing and analyzing consolidated legal financial statements and forecasts on a bi-monthly basis. This position is also responsible for preparing the semi-annual and annual reporting package and assist in the budgeting process. Additionally, in this position you will be part of the investigation and implementation of new technologies, process changes, and procedures to improve efficiencies within the department.
