Our Parks and Destinations group specializes in serving consumers; recreational and entertainment needs in national and state parks, zoos, aquariums, science centers, museums and other day-use cultural attractions.
The scope of our operations includes operating lodging, conference and meeting space, houseboats and other marine activities, retail merchandise shops, fine dining restaurants, and interpretive tours in some of this countr most pristine protected lands and national parks.

Position
Summary:
Responsible for supervising work activities of cleaning personnel to ensure clean, orderly and attractive room in hotels. Required to assign all duties, investigate complaints of employees and equipment and take appropriate corrective action. Assist housekeeping manager with purchasing of housekeeping supplies and equipment, inventory supplies, screening applicants, training new employees and recommending dismissals as needed.
Essential Functions:
Assist the department manager in the training of the resort worker staff
Supervise the daily operations of the resort worker staff
Fill in and cover shifts as needed
Document employee conduct as needed and assist in completing of performance evaluations at the end of season
Enforce company standards in cooperation with the General Manager and Human Resources
Ensure that each guest receives excellent customer service
Assist the department manager in the designing, and monitoring compliance with duty assignments
Resolve customer problems and ensure excellent customer service
Perform room inspections, and monitor quality of work
Status and Scope:
Reports to Housekeeping Manager
Qualifications:
Must be able to carry 10 pound basket for long periods of time
Must have positive attitude with excellent customer service skills
Must be 21 years old
CPR/First Aid Certified (or willing to be trained) preferred
Previous housekeeping experience required.
Equipment Used:
Polaris Vehicle; Computer; Radio; Telephone
Travel Requirements:Little or No Travel (>10%)
Lifting Requirements:
MEDIUM - Lifting 50 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
