This is a superb opportunity with one of my best Clients for a Programmer Analyst in Latham, New York State
As Programmer Analyst you will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, develop a design plan, translate plan into program specifications (or a manual process), code, test, and coordinate implementation.
The role has great scope and will include:
Working with internal associates to identify business challenges and opportunities for improvement
Developing work plans for assigned projects
New and existing software maintenance
Translating requirements into programming specifications
Assisting in logical and physical database design
Design, code and test program changes, created or installed
Reviewing project requests and recommends action to be taken
Requirements:
BA/BS in IT or Business related field or equivalent experience

years of system analysis and programming experience required.
5
years Data Modeling experience required.
Excellent knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
ASP.NET, preferably ASP.NET version 2.0 or higher
VB Script/MS Active Server Pages desired
Microsoft SQL Server
Version Control Software
Experience with insurance, retail, distribution and/or manufacturing industries desired but not essential
