Experience providing analytical support to an organization required.
Experience with statistical modeling and analysis of large amounts of data required.
Prior experience with web based analytics a plus.
Experience in the online gaming industry a plus.
Knowledge of Magic: The Gathering play and tournament structure a plus.
Knowledge of Magic Online a plus.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Must be able to think and make decisions with minimal supervision.

The ability to multitask is required.
The ability to identify problems, find ways of resolving them, and implementing the fixes.

Education and Training required:
Bachelors Degree required, preferably in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or another quantitative field.
Experience with MS Office (Excel, Access, Word & PowerPoint) required.
Experience with SQL required. Experience with Microsoft SQL Server environment preferred.
Experience with R, Python or another programming language highly desired.
Experience with Tableau (or other data presentation software) highly desired.
Experience automating computing tasks and scripting highly desired.

Responsibilities:
Model and Tool Building (30%) Create models within relevant technology that are able to answer questions, uncover trends and bring insights to decision makers. Models and tools may be utilized by members of the Business Intelligence team but also by those outside the team, so an ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at many levels throughout the organization is necessary.
Data Analysis (40%) Provide analysis from relevant data that enables leaders across the organization to proactively make decisions to improve player experience and business performance. Determine, along with assigned business teams, which analyses to undertake and which metrics to focus on by working closely with these groups and acting as a key BI liaison.
Business Process Automation (30%) Develop processes to reduce or eliminate routine and manual aspects of reporting. Create new and optimize existing SQL queries to increase speed of analysis. Generate new tools to communicate business performance with direct connections to data sources.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
