Summary:
The Data Architect II is an intermediate level position working with Data Architects, Data Consultants and Information Intelligence developers building a technology-agnostic view of the organization s business processes and information assets; linking the business mission, strategy and processes of the organization to its Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) strategy. The Data Architect II takes direction from Senior Data Architects. Engaged in implementing EDW solutions using architectural models in a sustainable and agile manner. Assist in the development of the EDW and Business Intelligence (BI) solutions managed by Knowledge Trust. Position support an information delivery solution requiring knowledge of simple data models and data sources. Provides support in various areas of technical requirement for BI solution, including design, development and configuration of the simple data model and ETL. Works directly with business, Information Intelligence and Information Services associates to support the best-practices for data integration, security, performance and sustainability. Participate in medium size project or program work efforts working with team members and various customers in highly collaborative environment.
Minimum Requirements:
3 - 5 years of experience in enterprise and business information system architectures, system engineering, project management, and information application design and development
Experience with healthcare systems, databases, and interfaces in hospitals and/or clinic settings or with a healthcare system vendor preferred
Experience in managing small project management and support technology, applications, programs and services
Education/Licenses/Certifications:
Bachelor s degree in health care, mathematics, informatics, computer science, business or information technology OR equivalent technical training/certification and additional work experience that demonstrates technical competency
Current Washington State Drivers License; and proof of a safe driving record (which meets established MHS Standards) obtained by a motor vehicle report from the appropriate state
