__Position Summary__
Responsible executing planned & predictive maintenance activities and equipment repair as assigned by management and Facilities Maintenance Team Leader.
_ _ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS_ _:__
1. Must observe all safety precautions and regulations at all times in all areas where duties are performed. Will be responsible for reporting all safety hazards and potential unsafe working conditions. Must attend all monthly scheduled Safety Meetings.
2. Maintain, troubleshoot, & repair fire protection systems (wet, dry, powdered, & special agent)
3. Maintain, troubleshoot, & repair AC & DC electrical systems up to 600 VAC.
4. Maintain, troubleshoot, & repair HVAC, chilled water systems & support equipment.
5. Maintain, troubleshoot, & repair hydraulic & pneumatic systems.
6. Maintain, troubleshoot, & repair motor control systems.
7. Understand the plant's fire and emergency procedures and be able to check and maintain the plant's fire protection systems.
8. Perform daily, weekly, & monthly inspections as assigned in MAXIMO.
9. Maintain and enhance current P.M. files.
10. Perform all preventive and predictive maintenance as required and/or scheduled.
11. Issue work order tickets for P.M. and report work that needs to be done to shop team leader.
12. Organize time to follow-up and follow thru with maintenance items to ensure the proper execution of the P.M. program.
13. Maintain a clean and safe work environment within current plant standards.
14. Perform any necessary plumbing, electrical, machinery, welding or carpentry work as assigned.
15. Perform duties of shop mechanic as assigned.
16. Safely operate power tools, equipment, and machinery normally found in a plant maintenance shop.
17. Follow all safety rules, plant rules, department rules and implement total quality in his/her area of responsibility.
18. Participate in Plant Corrective Action Team Program.
19. Participate in Plant Safety Program and be an active member of the Plant Emergency Response Team.
20. Report all unsafe conditions in a timely manner.

__Requirements__
Education and/or Experience Preferred:High School Diploma, GED, or Associate's Degree. Three to five year's related experience and/or training. Welding and forklift certification preferred.
