Position Description
The basic function of this position is to provide customer service for Kinder Morgan''s customers, which includes but is not limited to: order processing, scheduling, bill of lading preparation, management of inventory levels. The incumbent interfaces extensively with terminal operations personnel, co-workers, customers, and regulatory personnel as required.
Interact with all customers which include maintaining all customer paperwork. Provide general and account information in regards to customer inquiries.
Interact with customers and surveyors, regarding orders and product movements.
Work with operations, co-workers, scheduling, measurement, inspectors, UP Railroad and customers to reconcile custody transfer volumes. Utilizes knowledge of Inventory system in responding to report request and inquires.
Accurately update/maintain the Galahad system. Input and confirm inbound/outbound movements, identify variances (gains and losses), run reports, enter gauges, generate plant operating orders.
Complete month-end-close to provide timely information to accounting for billing, and to customer for their month-end-close.
Respond to requests for product throughput analysis from various departments and customers.
Reviews daily customer truck rack activity data and distribute customer reports daily. Calculate daily customer inventories, responds to customer inquiries and requests.
Generate BOL''S for truck activity. Distribute daily truck rack BOL''S to operations. Distribute daily truck rack weight tickets to customer.
Prepare Rail Road switch list.
Provide general office duties; such as typing, filing, faxing, mail sorting.
Strict adherence to security regulations and procedures as stated in the terminal''s Facility Security Plan.
Perform job in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements
Educational Requirements:
Minimum educational requirement is a high school diploma or
equivalent. Some college or a college degree is preferred.
Job Requirements:
Customer oriented and able to work in a team environment.
Intermediate computer skill; with above average skills in Excel, Word, and Microsoft Outlook and other company software.
Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, decimals, and fractions).
Must consistently demonstrate a courteous, professional attitude when handling customer inquires, as well as dealing with co-workers.
Handle non-routine customer requests, problems, and decision making.
Knowledge of GALAHAD is desirable.
Well balance interpersonal skills and strong verbal and written communications skills are required.
Must be able to take directions from supervisors, keep required work schedules, focus attention on details, adhere to operational procedures and follow work rules.
Must be self-motivated and capable of working with minimal supervision and/or direction.
Ability to obtain TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) as issued by TSA (Transportation Security Administration).
Ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver''s license and a driving record satisfactory to the Company and it''s insurers.
Successful completion of background check and drug screen upon job offer.
Preferred Experience, Skills and Knowledge:
Experience and knowledge in the Bulk Liquid Terminal industry is preferred.
Basic scheduling functions are desired.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
