Quality Quality Associate
QA AnalystApex is seeking a self-motivated QA Analyst to join our Quality department!
The ideal candidate will successfully contribute to the Quality team by ensuring quality through the auditing of the facility and production lines, by thorough evaluation of raw materials, bulk items and finished products, as well as contributing to continuous improvement efforts throughout the company.

Qualifying factors- The ideal candidate will have the following:
A minimum of 6 months to 3 yearsQA experience within a Quality department and within a regulated Manufacturing organization (Pharma, Cosmetics, Personal Care, Food, etc).
Candidate must havea Bachelor's degree or higherin Chemistry, Biology or a related science discipline.
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will be highly organized, have the ability to multi-task all day/every day, and have a strong sense of urgency.
Job Responsibilities and Duties:
Performs audits of manufacturing lines and manufacturing plant in order to ensure a world class manufacturing control program is maintained.
Ensures current SOPs, work instructions & test procedures are utilized & documentation records are accurate & in compliance with GMP requirements. Maintain compliance with current regulatory expectations and practices (e.g. USP)
Ensure current reference and product standards are maintained, as well as utilize data to focus improvement efforts so customer requirements & regulatory requirements are met.
Provides technical, process direction, and training to manufacturing personnel.
Ensures product quality specifications and customer standards are met and maintained to the customers' satisfaction, by ensuring test results meet current specifications prior to completion.
Provide trouble shooting guidance for operational deviation & out of specification (OOS) situations. Document OOS situations, determine root cause & suggest possible solutions in order to prevent reoccurrence.
Perform batch adjustment verifications as needed.
Understand and maintain a culture of lean action within the department.
Perform other work as assigned.
Knowledge Requirements:To be effective, this position requires:
Uses processes and technology to improve the quality and efficiency of service or production; follows processes well.
Can maintain and grow technical knowledge and expertise.
Can be accurate, precise and pay attention to detail.
Has intermediate PC capabilities - including MS Office (Access a plus)
Can read and follow written work instructions and specifications.
