Summary:
Worldwide strategic, financial (contribution margin) and management responsibility for the IDEXX Chemistry Line of Business (LOB). This position is responsible for long-term strategy, annual revenue and contribution margin performance, customer loyalty, and development of the LOB organization. Lead LOB product development, commercial and operations activities working with the respective functions, CAG (Companion Animal Group) commercial marketing group, and international regions. This position is responsible for alignment of strategy and resources to achieve operating plans for the Chemistry product lines as part of the broader VetLab and CAG portfolio.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
Develop strategic business direction for worldwide chemistry products lines consistent with overall CAG and IDEXX mission and direction.
Direct implementation and achievement of commitments for planning, goals and financial performance, including revenue, expenses, gross margins, contribution margins for chemistry product lines.
Direct management of product marketing, matrix management responsibility for research and development, operations, sales, and finance, and integration of all activities to achieve goals.
Manage a team of product managers responsible for leading cross-functional product management teams and ensuring excellent customer experience.
Responsible for the product roadmap and product positioning/messaging which includes identifying and selecting marketing opportunities, and developing communication strategies.
Work with commercial marketing and the customer facing organization to determine optimal approach to IDEXX markets, strategy and annual budget.
Recruit and hire highly talented and motivated individuals with required current and future skills & abilities with an emphasis, insuring diversity necessary to establish an effective team.
Communicate, support and lead execution of IDEXX mission, values and principles.
Represent IDEXX worldwide to employees, customers and suppliers.
Leadership for cross organization and cross-functional communication, processes and system improvements (including ISO, NPD process, etc.)
## Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or relevant technical discipline or equivalent experience.
MBA preferred.

Experience:
10
years of progressive leadership and management experience.
5
yrs of Product Marketing preferable in clinical chemistry or related healthcare, biotech or diagnostics
Finance and/or Profit and loss responsibility is preferred.
Skills and Abilities:
Proven management & leadership abilities.
Strategic thinking and planning in order to insure continued growth.
Strong negotiation skills (internal and with external suppliers/customers.
Effective communications (presentations, correspondence, and 1-on-1 across whole company at all levels).

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
