Express Specialized Recruiting Group is looking for an experienced Crane Tech/Specialist for a local MS Gulf Coast business.
Daily Tasks Performed :
o Provide hands on support to maintenance personnel when performing work that requires technical oversight
o Responsible for supporting improvements in equipment reliability and team efficiency
o Responsible for monitoring maintaining and documenting drive parameters
o Perform Root Cause Failure analysis for lifting and handling incidents and breakdowns
o Provide predictive maintenance program management support
o Investigate and perform technical analysis on all crane deficiencies related to repeat occurrences and/or components affecting load bearing, load controlling or operational safety devices
o Provide clear and concise documentation for work order completion and work history documentation
o Support/ Provide incident and near miss investigation and reporting
o Review OEM manuals and procedures for adaptation and incorporation into TKS developed instructions
o Oversee and support Lifting and Handling Equipment Repairs, Inspection and Maintenance Activities
.o Ensure working knowledge of competencies as defined in ISO 9001:2008, 14001:2004 Team Member Competency Forms
Job Requirements
Our Specialist, Electrical Cranes will have, or demonstrate:
Minimum Job Relevant Knowledge
o Familiar with ASME, OSHA, CMAA specifications
o Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance practices
o Must have fundamental knowledge of mechanical systems and components
o Must have a fundamental knowledge of electrical/electronic crane systems
Minimum Job Relevant Experience
1- 3 years' experience working with maintenance personnel
1- 3 years of experience with industrial machinery and/or equipment
1- 3 years design experience
Degree/Certification Required
o Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, or combination of post-secondary education and related Cranes maintenance experience.
Required Skills
o Must have knowledge in VFD drive logic and programming
o Must have knowledge with PLC control systems
o Must be fluent with Microsoft Office tools.
o Must be familiar with root cause failure analysis and general problem solving
o Have Knowledge of mechanical systems
o Must have general knowledge of automation and tracking system
